I have sold some gear and have been looking for a back-up guitar and I have decided to get an Epiphone Les Paul, but i am not sure about the different types. Can some one help?

It's basically the same guitar, except Plus has a flamed maple top if I recall correctly.

BTW both are very good guitars, great substitute for Gibson LP.

yes, Ivan is right, the difference is the looks, and both are for sure good options.

I can highly recommend Epiphone Les Paul's, especially the Standard-model since I had one awhile back. Great guitar smile.gif

My guitarist has this model http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product...?sku=518709,and the guitar sounds cool.So I am shore that the option of buying the Epiphone's Les Paul model is a good buy.
