Hi there. smile.gif

The tone I used in that lesson was nothing but a clean guitar tone with bit of reverb and maybe chorus,
I used Korg Pandora PX4D tho.
What gear do you use and can you post an audio clip of your tone?
Then I would be able to guide you more with tweaking and adjustment.

Well I also use clean sound as I dont see if it needs another.I use a Marshall 10MGCD.

And I dont have any equipment so I can record it.

Sorry but I think that I wasnt of any help smile.gif

And I now noticed that when you strum the open E string you produce different sound than me.And I cant seem to

get your sound with tuning the string.Any ideas why?

You must me more specific here,
when you hit low E you get different sound or different pitch than me?
Cause you cannot get the same sound as me unless you have 100% the same gear as I do.
And if it's pitch then you need to tune your guitar properly.

With your amp you should be able to get some descent clean tone,
I don't have that amp so I cannot tell you exactly what to dial,
you must experiment with it.

Hey man before I post the record I need to ask you a question.

Do you think I would need a POD or something like this.

Cause the amp I showed you above doesnt have any sound versatility.

Only Rock,Metal,Blues and those in a bad quality.

Do you think I might need some other gear except for the amp?

And the pitch that you get when you strum the open E string cant be acquired as much as i tune the guitar so maybe the guitar or the amp is the fault. But that can wait until the recording

Any suggestions concerning the above would be much appreciated. smile.gif

Hi Darknodar,

It sounds like your guitar is not in tune.

The best way to tune it is to use a chromatic tuner like this .

However if you dont have one of these then tune it using this online tuner,

Online Guitar Tuner

Hope this helps. smile.gif

And don't worry you won't ever get your guitar to sound like Muris, you should be aiming to make your own distinctive sound. wink.gif

As I said in some other topic that you opened,
IMO you don't need an amp at this point,
some multi-effect unit or even just a software would be fine.

And btw, do you use any kind of tuner or?

Boson suggested you nice one,
tho most of the units like PODs etc or guitar software have built-in tuner as well.

Well something came up.As I posted on a topic I have broken the E string tuning it.

So I am now fixing it.

That means I dont use a tuner.

Is it recommended to buy one?

Thanks guys I ve taken your suggestions into consideration so I will buy a tuner first so

the record will be done in 1 or 2 days. But the pitch in E string I dont think I can manage it even with a tuner.

Because if I tune more than it is it will break.Already happened 2 times.

You think the strings are the fault?

You were probably tighten it too much and that's why it broke, I think.
Try with tuner. smile.gif

Ahh, glad you solved it!!

You're very welcome.
Now you should use tuner as often as possible,
after a while your ear will learn how each string should sound
and eventually you'll need tuner less and less often. smile.gif

Ha!!Yeah, its exactly like you say.I have to use the tuner very often to get the right results.

But the chords dont sound as cool as yours so in the end I will be posting the REC.

But I will do it this week.Im not familiarized with it yet and it will need some practice. Also the amp

does a lot of echo so when I change chords it just doesnt sound very good.

Thanks for helping anyways smile.gif
