Know any good rock songs to learn? Whenever I go on UG to look for tabs, I cant ever think of anything. Got any ideas? Oh ya, I'm kind of an intermediate guitar player.

Try 'Fade to Black-Metallica'. The only difficult part in it is the solo at the end only because its a little too fast. But again this one song can teach you a lot, at least that was in my case.

Raise a little hell is by trooper. But Im glad you mentioned April Wine because I love that band.

But for intermediate guitar if you like Neil Young I recommend Down By The River and Rocking In the Freeworld. UG has good tabs of those songs. Plus the solos are kind of easy but fun to jam along with.
Streets of Fire by Bruce Springsteen if not to hard and a great song.
