In case you have missed it - today we have an amazing lesson with Stephane:
Bottleneck Blues Rock

I am sure there are lot of people who - just like me - haven't got started with slide guitar yet. What tool can we use to play slide guitar? I am sure some of you have used really crazy stuff for this purpose...!

Before I bought a slide, my dad cut a short piece of pipe that I used that was about the size of a slide. It had a really harsh tone to it as it wasn't very smooth.

I also used to unscrew my whammy bar and use the arm of in on the strings sometimes.

I used a regular plastic lighter several times, it works a bit. But glass slide is I think good. Haven't tried metal ones, they could be better tho.. smile.gif
