Legato isn't one of my strongest technique :) Here's the result of practicing for several month..

Hey Marc, that was really impressive. There were a couple of rhythm errors and some sticky moments during the shape transitions but you've got a great grasp of this technique. The hammer ons and pull offs sounded very consistent and you kept any unwanted string noise to a minimum.

The hardest part of this lesson is always going to be changing between shapes - the transitions. So I'm not surprised to see some minor flaws here and there but overall I'd say your efforts towards legato are a success. Please keep up the good work !

I've been practicing this one myself, exactly for the purpose stated by Ben - shape shifting and keeping time and consistency. You fared well all around and the only major one I can spot, is the one around 0:25 - that one is really nasty, I know

We should thank Ben for this great lesson and in the mean time, please take some time to slow things down and focus on the shifts at slow tempo, while maintaining timing and consistency When you are feeling relaxed, push the tempo forward maintaining the relaxed feeling and anticipating every shift - it will help out tremendously!

I think this is the way to get things done with this lesson for certain!

wow, great man!!
i know this legato lesson isn't easy because of the slower tempo! Specially legato playing at a slower tempo requires a good technique and solid timing and a lot of discipline.
Some players only use legato if they play (really) fast because the timing problems don't stand out so much then. But you did a great job at a slow tempo with only some small issues!!!

Try to speed up to faster tempos now!!!
