Hi! I was wondering if someone checked new Paul Gilbert + Freddie Nelson album called United States.

Attached Image

It sounds like a mix of Queen (Nelson's voice sounds like Freddy Mercury's voice) and Mr.Big. The compositions are really good hard rock songs, Gilbert solos are killer as always and Nelson voice is a fantastic surprise for me.

I didn't find a myspace but you can find some album's audio clips at youtube. (here)

Here you also have a Gilbert's interview where he talks about the album.

Gab.-

Dream come true, gilbert and a guy who sounds like Freddie Mercury? Unbelievable. And he's a good guitar slinger himself. Looks like we have something promising.

Intense rock 1 and 2 are a must. Buy it here

However every Gilbert dvd is awesome. The last two are based in the songs of his last two instrumental albums. Check there in amazon or in his home page the other ones. Whichever you get you'll feel satisfied.
