There are many difficult ones. Depends what technique you are struggling with. For example I am good with alternate picking so probably some advanced sweep picking would be difficult for me. There are some crazy chord lessons. Looks simple but it's not. I am about to learn Muris' Extreme Neoclassic and I'll tell you how it went smile.gif That's a pretty hard one

For me, it's Muris' extreme neoclassical lesson.
But i've also had huge problems with some of Marcus Lavendell's lessons. He's got his own very spesific style thats really hard to recreate and thus making my attempts on his lessons sound like poo smile.gif

Nick Kellie's "stretchminator" lesson is ridiculous too

https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guitar/stretchminator/

Mostly because it is a totally unique lesson

To me, this seems to be the hardest lesson. But mayby it's because I would love to be able to do that because I like tapping A LOT).

Other then that, definately the lv10 extreme neoclassical lesson. wink.gif

The fastest level 10 lessons are definitely the hardest ones, cause you need a big amount of time to master them precisely. Nothing can help there but practice smile.gif

I think that Aleksandar Sukovic's solo on Chopin(fast picking stuff) is the very big challenge for everyone. Requires precise, clean picking.

Good question smile.gif

I assume you are asking about hardest lesson to play in terms of technique ?

I guess Muris lessons are in that area as well as some of Emir's. Those are ones I can think of from top of my head smile.gif

Hmmm, thats a really loaded question.

There are lot of hard lessons here, and not just the "difficulty rating".

I guess its really subjective depending on your influences, and how you developed your playing over the years.

There are some lessons here that have a 4 or 5 rating that are very hard for me for one reason or another. On the flip side there are some 9 or 10 difficulty ratings that are really easy for me, mainly because the chops and tecniques are some that i have been using for alot of years.

I really think that my weakest element is finger playing, so i would definately put some of Ivan's finger style lessons as some of the hardest for me on the site.

Or lessons that involve advanced tapping skills, i never developed my tapping skills. Eddie VanHalen, i listened to him alot and i thought he was a great guitarist. But i was still just mainly a listener when he came on the scene. When i was really developing and learning guitar playing skills i was learning stuff like Yngwie, Tony Macalpine, Vinnie Moore. So if a lesson has elements from that kind of playing i find it easier even though the "Rating" is higher.

Daniel
