As long as it takes. Sometimes I record, render a video, and don't like some small detail, so I record everything once again.. Different situations occur. It depends on the day really

I'm with Ben on this one. Just do 2-3 takes and post it. You'll benefit more from the feedback on your honest state of ability than on something that might not reflect your actual default ability.

I work hard to make the lessons sound perfect because I want to show the musical idea or exercises at its best. Regarding the rec program is ok that you post takes that aren't perfect. The idea is to give you some feedback about your playing to let you continue improving. Maybe a good feedback could prevent you of working something in a wrong way.

I normally practice the lessons well enough so when i get to the recording i shouldn't need more then 2-3 takes to get it right. If it takes more then that that means that i don't know the lesson good enough to record
