Make sure your index finger is straight. Sometimes, people tend to use thumb side of the index finger, but you should avoid that. The center of your finger has more flesh to press the strings. Hmmm... If I remeber this right, this contradicts an earlier video from Kris http://www2.guitarmasterclass.net/beginner...arre-chords.htm. Who is right and who is wrong?
