Bend And Slide Exercises For Beginners, Lesson By Laszlo Boross |
|
Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Very good, I like your timing here and vibrato is on the good way to become very good. The things you really need to work on are bends. Bending needs to be fast, precise, in time, and so does release of the bend. Likewise, vibratos, need to be more even (every time in pitch, and synced with the backing). You are on the right track, so it's a mater of polishing these details out.

Vibrato feels a bit sharp still, I don't know if it's the guitar's intonation or the tuning, but it definitely feels sharp so try to fix that by really tuning your guitar well and listening for the notes with no vibrato first,
I think that's the issue you should tackle now, the notes are accurate and well learned, Timing wise you still rush a bit, that's a natural tendency, so consciously draw back the tempo in your body, by feel, and you'll see that it fits nicer with the backing -------------------- Visit my:

You are improving you playing a lot man! The vibrato still needs to be more natural and you should feel more comfortable with it but you are on the right track! Your concentration on vibrato and bending made you forget the timing which is also VERY important. There are many timing issues in the whole take that you should improve.
Keep on working hard! -------------------- My lessons
