I'm sorry to hear that. I Hope that your arm heals up quickly and back to 100%. I'm actually going to have to leave for a little while, while my hand heals. I have a torn tendon flexor extendor. Good luck on your recovery, be patient, you'll be shredding again soon!

Yeah, look on the bright side man, try getting into producing or composing with Reason or something. Don't give up!
I've had RSI and Ganglion cysts on my left wrist, from playing way too much, and really badly, forced me to re-examine the way I practice, and made me realize how important health is.
Take it easy man, take the time to get better.
Best of luck, and best wishes
Cheers

Man you just gotta be strong and recover it wink.gif .I've overcome alot in my life including near death.I had to learn to walk ,eat drink, and a tracheostomy through my throat made me have to learn to even talk again and i overcame all that. You really have to be determined and planing for the best regardless of doctor's opinions or odds because there are people breaking them everyday!Im groof of that smile.gif

If its just one arm then maybe you could still try and use the other hand .Wether its the fret hand or picking hand using them just for practice would help you keep some of your skill you.I just try and think like that.Like if it were me i would be trying to play with my feet or something tongue.gif I never Quit biggrin.gif

Best of Luck

This is very sad to hear!! sad.gif

I had a similar thing which actually lasted for almost 6 months - and I did just as Gabriel suggested. I used that time to get an "advantage" and studied "boring" things which guitarits don't usually include in their practice routine! smile.gif

Kris:

How did that happen? Did you keep pushing after you had warning signs and thus exacerbated what might have been a short term condition? Or did it all happen at once with full effect?
