I've been needing drum software for a long time.
I think I decided on EZdrummer, and maybe some expansions.

Do anyone know and reccomend Drumkit from hell and MetalheadsEZX?
Do I need anything extra to use the programs fully, like Reaper or something I have to buy?
I read that installing and registration is difficult, but that is just something you do only once off course.

I have DFH in EZD and love it. It's a must if you want metal. You get the action of double kick. I often change patterns anyway. Reaper is a great program to use. You can skim through this video I made for the tutorial of making backing tracks. Maybe it will give you an idea of how this works.

Nice video, it seems quite EZ!

So what about the Metalheads expansion, any references?
I guess EZ and DFH is a good start

EZ and DFH is a good start yeah smile.gif The good news is, everybody and their brother has a copy so getting help in the forums and on the web in general is pretty easy. The bad thing about BFD ECO is that almost nobody seems to have it and it's not "EZ" so it's probably best to start with EZ Drummer.

I"m using EZ/DFH, BDF ECO, STEVEN SLATE DRUMS and just added STUDIO DRUMMER from NATIVE INSTRUMENTS. It can be a bit overwhelming honestly. I still reach for EZ first as it's the most EZ and I've had it the longest.

Studio Drummer is the New Kit on the block. Also a great value.

Damn it all to hell... this is hard.

I found a really good prize from Amazon.com, but they will not ship.
I have to use Amazon.uk and that is at almost double the price.

And now I see, there is also some expansion called Metal machine EZX

So I haven't really decided after all.

I'll search more prices
