Problem Regarding Tro Alternate Picking

Its because i do not feel comfortable with going from one string to another - it feels like my hand movements are to tiny, to small.... Well anyway, i was browsing youtube, trying to find an answer to my problem, and i found this lesson:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2EPTaLwqO9g He sais that alternatepicking should be done by only move ur hand, and having your fingers straight (except for the ones that holds the pick). He said that a lot of his students tend to only move the fingers that holds the pick (watch the movie to get more insight) making them push at each other - back and forth. i´ve tried this advice with the hand movement and the fingers straight - but to be onest - ITS STILL UNCOMFORTABLE! Its hard for me to notice the different with this technique and the wrist one.... or is the finger movement the same thing with the wrist one?
