Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hey man!

Great take. Your sound is good, I think you also got the vibe. In my oppinion, you should work on your bendings more ( the one at around 0:29 in particular) and work more on your vibratos as well, even them up a bit. I personally think that you should learn Ben's vibrato odissey, and as you learn it, try to come up with your own vibrato style.

You should also work on the last lick, it seemes that your picking and fretting hands are a bit out of coordination.

Cheers

I agree with Zsolt about bending and vibrato. Overall you did a great job and this is a tough lesson to cover! smile.gif

This is a really great take ! Zsolt has a good point.. you could do with spending more time getting some more control over your vibrato and bends.. but, and it is a big fat but.. it's a very good take overall and I actually prefer your tone over the original ! smile.gif

Very well done! Todd here smile.gif Thanks for stopping by Vide Chat today! I really dig that Ibanez. Niiiiiiiice. Your playing on this was quite good. Fluid, effortless, emotive. The guys have a good point in that a bit more time spend on precision/control in your bends and whammy work would help a bit, but overall a really great take.
