Here is my story.
I've been a member and playing for a long time, so I know a lot of stuff and techniques, but unfortunately I don't play anything very well. I guess when you don't have a teacher from the beginning, you develop some bad habits. So this is what I want: Improve my playing by Learning and mastering new techniques Getting to a point, where I can improvise Being able to play a lot faster Being able to play a lot tighter Getting rid of that recording fever Recording good quality tracks AND STRUCTURE OF MY LEARNING I only know two ways of recording my stuff, and that is through my GNX4 guitar board or with my camera phone. And that does not always turn out satisfying I think I don't have any fancy stratocaster or big amps. In the REC videos I play my Wasburn WM17, and that is through a lousy squier amp, that I bought 15 years ago. I started with something like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NIB-Fender-Squier-...1#ht_2292wt_905 I got a newer Riot cabinet without any top I also got an old crappy Gem keyboard, and a bass that I also need to learn to play https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivLjRPxyjSQ I feel I have some time to learn now, and hopefully working full time instead of studying will give me money to upgrade. I will get some drum software really soon, that is really needed. I don't have anything on video right now, but I'll do something this friday if you'd like. I normally take time each weekend for recording. I like playing a lot of different genres, but I mostly listen to melodic metal. A non-metal collab would not scare me. Home work is OK Sorry if this sounds like chaos, and that I need help with everything This post has been edited by Ulrik: Feb 22 2012, 07:40 PM -------------------- |
