This is a new instrumental tune I"ve been working on called "Like Tears in Rain". Which is of course, taken from the ending scene of Blade Runner which inspired the tune. Enjoy!

Man, that's awesome! Really like that atmospheric touch - could listen hours to it..
Great phrasing, too - and nice balance between lead and silence.

Where's the attachement?
Thanks
I've been working on it for a while now. I really wanted to make something that used a bit more "silence" as I sometimes tend to want pack tons of notes in. Not everyone has the ear for that and it's not always the best approach, so I thought I'd intentionally focus on the notes I wasn't playing. It was harder than I thought it would be.

Glad you dig it. I"m glad to be in the band too! It's a very cool project and I"m digging the tunes! I had the thought that I could pull the lead parts out of this and give you guys a shot and playing over it. It's very short but could easily be extended to allow for more soloing. It might work then as one of the Quadrium tunes? What do you think Christian?

Thanks! The melody through line is the most important part for me when I'm writing an instrumental piece. It's like the Chorus or Hook in a pop song. It's the bit that the rest of the song builds to and the bit you'll remember. It passed the whistle test as well so I knew I had something workable
The bass line at this point is quite simple but if you have time Bogdan I'd love to let you have a pass at it. Let me know if you can fit it in. I know your a busy dude so if not, that's cool.

Thanks Fre! It was a really fun piece to work on. The guitars are layered to the nth degree. There are actually 3 accoustic/clean parts happening under the main melody and lead. They fade one by one at the end and you start to hear bits you didn't realize were there. That was the funnest bit

Thanks! I"m thrilled everyone liked it so much! I"m going to upload it without any lead guitar on it so that people can experiment with it. I"m also going to use it a bit in my lesson this Saturday as a backing track to show solo licks. Hope to see you sat!
