Think you can use this in front of a POD Toneport? 2.) It seems to tune the entire guitar - all 6 strings equally. IMHO these pitch shifter are not 100% on the spot. They shift your tuning but its not always in tune, they sound a little off and it sucks tone too. This is only neccessary if you have to switch tunig within a song. If you change tunings from song to song then it's much less of a hassle to switch to another guitar!
