GMC Forum _ CHILL OUT _ A Small Update

Posted by: Caelumamittendum Aug 19 2010, 06:27 PM

Have you missed me GMC?

I'm not completely gone. I decided some months ago that I was gonna not be too much on GMC anymore. Things have since taken a turn. My girlfriend broke up with me after 3½ years, I have had no place to live (I still haven't untill 1st of October) and a few other things (my "reserve" grandmother who practically raised me, died the same day my girlfriend broke up). So I'm rubbing my hands together and expecting some pretty good stuff from Karma soon.

I haven't played guitar for a long, long time by now. But I've come to the conclusion that I might soon want to join a band again and perhaps even practice more seriously now that I'm all alone.

So... I'm still fighting a few things emotionally, but hopefully I will come out stronger on the other side of all of this. I still haven't got my feet planted on the ground as it's not too long ago and I still haven't got a place to live, as said.

Anyway, just wanted to check in and say hello. I hope you're all doing alright.

hey dude, that's sad to read man.. sometimes life is like this, and im pretty sure you know it by now, it is always good to try to find light in music, in a band or in any kind of art expression, you kind off need to take all the sadness you may have in out.

and if i can give you some kind of advice, stay away from drugs and important decisions now smile.gif

That's a lot of bad things happening at once. Good to see how you handle it, though, given the words you use to describe your current state of mind. Hope things will turn for the better soon... Good luck!

Sorry to hear about your situation and I wish you fast recovery and getting back on feet. Music is often great place to start!

Unfortunately I don't have my guitar with me here, so I can't really play any music. Perhaps it's a healthy break from music too and I'll come back stronger and eager to play and learn again.

Sorry to hear that man...life just sucks sometimes for no apparent reason. You'll come back to it when you are good and ready. And we will be here waiting for you!
