I've tried it but I get alot of noise, it's hard to mute, and use your tap finger at the same time.

Combining tapping and sweeping is a lot more advanced than sweeping itself so if you are not comfortable with sweeping there is no point to start combining it with taps as you'll just waste your time.
The biggest trick of it is muting - just as in sweeping. I'll jam a bit tomorrow and try to come up with a simple solo to start with. -------------------- "It isn't how many years you have been playing, it's how many hours." -- Prashant Aswani "PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!" -- Michael Angelo Batio Check out my video lessons and instructor board! |
