Hi Alex! Good job!

The timing workout still has issues but it's much better! We can continue with the next backing (120 bpm): Attached File  AC_DC_Backing_120.mp3 ( 1.52MB ) Number of downloads: 295

5 days of practice.

About Frusciante, yes, timing is giving big problems, but we are working on this.

The timing workout exercise is perfect. How did you feel it? Easy? Tricky? There is a new assignment on the original thread, check it out.

Hey Gabriel!

How are you? smile.gif
Saw pictures that you played on TV! Amazing!!
Here is new timing video and answers to ear training, some days I did not find the time to practice the Frusciante lesson but I have practiced bending atleast 10 min each day so no Frusciante video this week.
I felt like this was a pretty good take actually, just a couple of notes I missed.
https://youtu.be/vRrmInlcQ4Y
The ear training was quite much harder this week.

Hi Alex!! I have to say that you did a very good job with the timing workout!! Most of the notes sound totally tight on this one. So we are ready to make an experiment. The work for the next days is to play the same rhythm (quarter notes) but now using A minor pentatonic scale random notes. The idea is to see if playing different notes distracts you and makes you lose timing... I give you 4 days to work on this, ok?

The ear training assignment has many wrong ones, could you please re-check it using your guitar?

Hi Alex! Good job with the assignments! The ear training is perfect! And the timing workout is very close, there are some parts where you play everything very tight. The only part that shows problems is the bridge from verse to chorus, where the rhythm changes.

So well, the next timing assignment is now playing 8th notes over the following backing. If you pay attention to the backing you will notice that hi hat is playing 8th notes.

Attached File  Funky_Backing_105_bpm_2.mp3 ( 1.38MB ) Number of downloads: 256

As this is the first assignment with these rhythm, we will get back to repeat the same note instead of random notes.

Deadline: May 7th

Quarter notes. That's how you'll tap when phrasing and playing solos so you need to be able to tap quarter while you play 8th notes.
