If you use any MIDI compatible DAW, you can use this game controller as a midi input device. What the heck does that mean? Well, for about 75 US dollars, you can buy the Wiii version of the ROCK BAND MUSTANG GUITAR game controller and play any keyboard patch with a guitarish device.

For example, orchestra, drums, horns, keys, etc. All coming from you playing this plastic guitar. It's the cheapest midi guitar I've ever seen. I had to have one Here is a video demo from a guy doing exactly this. It's not my demo but it's quite good
