As some of you may recall, I bought a Jackson JS32R about 6 weeks ago. It's a great guitar but I just could not get a warm tone out of it. Great guitar for metal, but I want to play a lot more than metal and cannot afford a guitar for every genre I want to play. At the time, I had tunnel vision and just wanted a Jackson. Well, after trying many things (and not succeeding at any of them mad.gif ), I stopped at the shop where I bought it from and talked about a trade. They took at back (at almost $120 less than I paid for it), but the store credit enabled me to buy the other guitar I had been considering briefly.
Here's a pic:

Though I took the loss, I am very happy with the clean (and the distorted) sound from it and consider the trade well worth it! biggrin.gif

Congrats! As long as YOU are happy with the trade, that's what matters!

I love my Parker Fly for the versatile tone, as well. I never quite fell in love with my US strat, so that got sold. The Parker is my axe for country, metal, funk, blues, and jazz! True....I'd like to have 335 tone, and a true Telecaster, but until then my Parker will hold it down on every sound I need!

That guitar looks awesome! I've owned a couple ESP LTD guitars in the past and they were solid.... been recently thinking about getting one again to have a guitar with 24 frets.

It's an EC-100QM.Just a basic guitar but it's only $249 (US)! I love the sound and pretty much everything about it! The neck pickup is great (very smooth and warm) and in the bridge position, I honestly cannot tell a difference between it and the Jackson. A lot of crunch! It is a bolt on neck neck but it is is hard to see even when you are holding it. biggrin.gif Like Brandon said, at least I know which one I prefer now!
