Hi and thanks for your kind words, appreciate it.
You have it right tho, most of the time I prefer thick pick for electric (even 2 mm) and thin pick for acoustic, approx 1mm but sometimes even thinner. When I say acoustic I mean nylon acoustic or classical mainly since I play it pretty often on gigs, I use steel acoustic in studio only atm. And this gauges are for live purpose since you cannot switch gauge on stage that quickly so I like to keep same pick all the time. But in the studio I use many gauges, both for acoustic and electric, it depends of what kind of tone that I'm after, it's it rhythm part or heavy lead, funk, blues, pop etc. Whatsoever there are NO rules when it comes to pick and gauge, I would recommend you to try as many different picks and gauges and see what works best for you in certain situations. Experiment, human being has different moods and tastes. -------------------- Youtube
