Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hey guys,

Slash Style Ballad Solo - Level 4
Instructor : Lucio Antolini

This was a tough one for me. A couple of new techniques, e.g. downward bending (thanks Ben!) with additional vibrato, stopping notes with plectrum...
And then the amount of bendings in this lesson .... Mama Mia !!! laugh.gif
I notice synchronisation problems between my new webcam (Logitech C910 Pro) and the track recorded in Sonar. I moved the audio track a little forward, you'll notice halfway it's OK but beginning and end is not in sync. I hope to find a solution for that.

Very good take Nico! Congratz! I'd only pay more attention to the pitch of the bends! Great work otherwise! wink.gif

Very good indeed! you should stop the bend from going too high on some of those whole tone ones. Also the vibrato can be even wider because I notice you only go in one direction which is upwards. Don't be afraid of also going downwards as much as you go up. I hope you understand what I mean
