Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi. The rhythm part of this lesson is sounding very good, no problems there.

The lead part is a bit more awkward for you.

The pull off at 0:35 is not coming through. I think you might be hammering on the note but moving to the next position before allowing the pull-off to sound.

During the alternate picking runs it sounds like you could do with working on your hand co-ordination. Pretty much any alternate picking licks can be used to focus on hand synchronisation so you can use the ones that feature in this very lesson. smile.gif

Other than that there's just a few areas where you lose the flow of the lead melodies.. there's gaps between phrases.

But good work nonetheless man ! smile.gif

Hey bro!

I agree with Ben! I just wanted to point out that the lead phrases need a bit of work, so please focus on hand synch and cleaning up the phrases around 0:39, at 0:46 - your fretting hand should be playing the notes a bit harder, as towards the end of the legato phrase, those notes seem to fade a little, then there's the vibrato - see min 0:30 for instance, please focus on using the wrist, as there are many other spots in which you are using the fingers to vibrate and that makes the vibrato a bit weaker than it should be.

These are just details, but as usual, they make the difference, so please take our suggestions and focus on implementing them in the new take wink.gif

Keep rocking!

Cosmin

Hi mate! This is a very interesting lesson that includes some unique phrasing. I think that Ben and Cosmin already marked the 3 main things to improve on this lesson.

- Legato
- Alternate Picking
- Vibrato

In order to add some more here I would like to suggest you lessons that will help you to cover the areas that you are failing on this one.

https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Hammer...Pull-Off-Etude/
https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Bens-Vibrato-Odyssey/
https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Hand-Synch/

Incorporate these 3 lessons to your current practice and you will be working on the details that you need to fix on this one.

Keep on the hard work!
