Let's read & write about our amps in our wiki!
This will be GMC WIKI AMP WEEK smile.gif

I believe we could make an amazing knowledge base together if we share our experience here in our wiki.
That's why I'm proposing this "Amp week" to encourage all our members and instructors to share a few lines about their amp with us smile.gif

You can make a large review, like this one or a short mini review, such as this one here. There are many more you can find here.

You can go ahead and do it directly in our wiki, or just post it here in this thread or in the gear reviews forum. I can add all your reviews into the wiki, so no problem wink.gif

If we all take a few minutes to write about our amps we can make the coolest knowledge base ever. It's fast and easy.
Shall you guys like this idea, we could make new "weeks" every month, continuing with our favourite stomps, guitars, etc! wink.gif

Oh, I just realized we should maybe set and endline for this little project, so this current Amp Week will end on the 30th of November! (Yeah, I know that's almost two weeks, but "The Amp Week" sounds way cooler as a title than "The Amp Two Weeks", doesn't it? laugh.gif wink.gif

Theres already a wiki entry done on the Valveking head, should I do another one? I could also do one on a Crate practice amp, its nothing special, but its still an amp nonetheless smile.gif

Sure Ivan, you've made excellent reviews for our wiki smile.gif
Now we are looking for new ones from people who haven't shared their cool gear with us yet cool.gif

Sure thing, the more reviews and opinions the merrier, even if it's about the same amp models.

You can always write the review anyway, recording the amp would be cool but it's not necessary, as a matter of fact most our reviews don't include sound files or videos, just text & pics smile.gif

Well I use it for a practice amp but its over kill, sounds really nice, has 2 12" custom speakers, I run it on 50 watts for but can switch to 100 when needed.. Check out the review for more info... I actualy ordered the amp from the factory, had them switch out the speakers and tubes for me, so its a custom amp you could call it...

I'm working on the Valveking review right now. I tried to get it in before the deadline but I've been busy with family stuff over the Thanksgiving holiday.

Also, I've completed my last project, the Strat upgrade, last week. I just need to find the time to organize the pictures and write up some captions.

Glad I could be of service fran biggrin.gif I actually need to update that review, I just found out some new information about those power tubes. Apparently that tube is readily available and is in fact a copy of the Phillips STR.
