Anyone going to take the trip? I'm considering it. Would cost me about £500 for plane and ticket alone. :/

Why o why would you want to see them? They're absolutely aweful tongue.gif. And from what I saw/heard from a live consert they were even worse. Buy guitar stuff for the money instead I say cool.gif

They're my favourite band of all time is why!

It's either see them or buy a Fender Blues Deluxe amp. I'm leaning towards seeing Rage. (if I can get the tickets!)

However if I do go to America, I'll make sure I bring enough cash to buy a guitar! Gotta take advantage of those low ass prices!

P.S. Rage are supposed to be incredible live (not talking about watching them live on TV, but talking to people who have been to their gigs).

Which concert were you at Steelkonsum? I saw Rage nearly 15 years ago when they went on tour with their first album, and they were absolutely brilliant. One of the best live bands I've seen. Lots of raw power.

The question is whether I'd pay $500 to go and see them now...

In my mind you can't put a price on a once in a lifetime oppurtunity to see your all time favourite band.

That's right - if youthink it's worth the inspiration you'll get then go for it! smile.gif

For me seeing a youtube video can be enough - so that's why I attend live show way to seldom... Which is a shame of course.
