Another Sweep Picking Question, im new :p Options

ok so in your beginner sweep picling lesson you play a C major arpeggio in the 2nd video (I think)

E|--------------12h-15-15p-12-------------|
B|-----------13---------------13----------|
G|--------12---------------------12-------|
D|-----14---------------------------14----|
A|--15---------------------------------15-|
E|----------------------------------------|



ok so when i hammer on from the 12th fret to the 15th i cant come anywhere near the same volume that you get in the video.

like when i hammer on its almost slient.

It pretty much comes down to this.

I dont seem to be able to get anywhere near the same volume when i tap/ hammer on to a note, rather than pick the note normally.

is this because I am using a clean sound, and you are not (in the video)

or do i need to just improve my finger strength

Although im not pavel.. and feel free to disregard my answer I believe this is due to finger strength. doing proper hammerons with your pinky requires a fair a bit of strength. Playing unplugged you should be able to hear the hammeron as clearly as the rest of the notes (ruling out amp settings) Just work on accuracy and power and eventually the volume will come.
