Hi everybody!!
I couldn't let pass the opportunity to say "Thank you" as well and show my current status of daily progress here at GMC. So here is my entry for this competition. http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=0SSlTPUuex4&fmt=18 Sorry, i don't really have old recording's of my playing. So i thought some photos would illustrate the best how GMC change my motivation for focused practicing .. Hope you enjoy it !! btw, for all participants ... Siggum, shared his knowledge in another topic to add &fmt=18 at the end of your youtube links and it really improves the quality of the video, but most importantly of audio quality as well. |

And here is my entry
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pC-xd86K9Pk&fmt=18 Well, I just had to do something that had vocals, since that was actually one of the things I improved the most since I joined GMC (thanks a lot Luciana and Nemanja!) together with my improvisation/composition skills (special thanks to Gabriel, Ivan, Walliman, Muris...). My opinion about the band: lead guitarist and singer are too worried and concentrated , bassist and acoustic player are really enjoying it , and rhythm guitarist on top left looks like a robot ... But overall is a nice song P.S. Nice entry wrk and thanks for the &fmt=18 tip This post has been edited by Gus: Oct 11 2008, 01:57 PM -------------------- my "Thank you GMC!" video

Ahh, I'm hoping you entered the competition for more than just the prizes. Some of the thoughts I put on my practice agenda: "One of the good things of participating in collabs, competitions or shooting out a student instructor class is that you force yourself to practice a little bit more to make it good. This last weeks I pretty much been involved in making my entry to the latest GMC competition. Here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pC-xd86K9Pk&fmt=18 It's not perfect but I am quite proud of it It made me practice a lot, specially bending and the wah-wah lick. Not to mention I had to experiment a lot with my voice to find a good way to sing it. Of course I would like to win one of the prizes (I really really want that wah-wah, because the POD ones only go on full volume disabling the volume pedal), but in terms of practice and fun making the video I am already a winner. " And then the words by the one and only Kristofer Dahl just worthed all the work on the video P.S. Please close the competition before we have other great entries added! This is already competition enough This post has been edited by Gus: Oct 13 2008, 06:53 PM -------------------- my "Thank you GMC!" video
