Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi Ann! Good job with this one!

You are getting really close to provide a flawless take man! Well done! Let me list a few details and elements to have in mind during the next days of practice.

- Tone: Your tone doesn't have enough prescence and has the effect level a bit high. This makes your solo sound unclear in the mix.

- Dynamics: You play all the notes with the same intensity, start experimenting with dynamics as an expressing tool. Just listen to this lesson to see what I mean: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Blues-Dynamics/

- Bending: Your bending is getting better but your fingers don't look comfortable yet. Keep on working on the exercise that I've shared before.

That's all by now mate, keep on the good job!

Hey there! Sounding really nice! You put some effort to keep proper intonation while recording - that's a huge plus. Now personally I think most distracting here is a pitch on vibrato - you go slightly up with the pitch when you vibrate the notes. Same as Gabriel suggested - I would go for less effect and a bit more shrapness to get closer to John's tone. It will bost the attack and will make your timming/attack even more clear to judge.

Hi there, this is an improvement over your previous take. Your vibrato and timing are much more solid. The tone is better as well.

The bending is generally good but it's almost, almost flat.. but you just get away with it - it's on the edge!

The only thing that counted against you was cutting that note off too fast at 0:25.. the note on the D string just before you begin that ascending arpeggio. It sounded very awkward and noticeable. Try to hang onto the note as long as you can to make the phrases tie together.

That's my only criticism - good work!
