Actually they have some kind of percussion, bass drums and similar...

Haha, it sounds a lot worse than the real composition! smile.gif Well, rock drums are not made for these pieces. On the other hand classical orchestras had a whole bunch of percussion instruments, that were added from Romantic to modern times bit by bit.

Totally agree with you Ivan! smile.gif

But there is a SymphonyX song named "Odyssey", it starts with a classical music/movie score and it has all the instruments of a rock band, and is simply brilliant!

Also the intro of Paradise Lost is so magical and uses the same instruments.
