I love my Tyler and that pretty much is my dream guitar, I'd have to go completely custom with a company like Luxxtone (I really like their ideas) to make a dream guitar.

I have my dream guitar an EBMM JPX-6. I'd take the EBMM JP BFR 7 in Bahama Blue Burst tho.

I remember seeing Rusty Cooley playing Conklin 8 string some time ago. It would be fun to try one of those out. smile.gif

This is the one I'm saving for.

the low strings become an extended scale guitar for thicker rhythms while the higher strings remain the same for leads

I didn't notice at first, besides the angled frets, I see the nut and bridge are angled too! I'm guessing the lower strings are designed for a longer scale length for tighter string tension and the higher strings set for a standard guitar length? I can't imagine the precision that goes into getting the intonation right! biggrin.gif

With the fanned frets apparently it gives you amazing intonation giving the strings their perfect tension. I know Andy Mckee uses an acoustic from Greenfield.

Conklin guitars are amazing! I'm with you there. I'm not sure about picking just ONE dream guitar because I really prefer certain guitars for certain things, and I play a lot of different styles... For jazz, blues, fusion though I'd have to pick one of these guitars:

It's a Vigier Shawn Lane Excalibur signature guitar. I'd probably take out the middle pickup but other than that it is PERFECT.

I'm with you this is exactly what my dream guitar would look like. The frets are slanted to give it the benefits of multiple scale lengths. It is suppose to be more ergonomical as well.
