So here is what we will be doing!
I will be explaining a new theory subject once a week or every other week and will be giving assignments based on it!
Theory questions (will help me to get a better idea where to start! )

- Harmonize G major scale
- Build A7 chord
- Write ii - V - I chord progression starting with Cmi7
- D mi7 - Bb - Gmi - F What key this chord progression in?

- G Major Scale Harmonized

G Major scale has these notes - G A B C D E F#. Harmonized, it will give these Chords

- G Major Chord - G (root) B(Major 3rd) D(5th)
- A Minor Chord - A(root) C(minor 3rd) E(5th)
- B Major Chord - B(root) D(Major 3rd) F#(5th)
- C Major Chord - C(root) E(Major 3rd) G(5th)
- D Major Chord - D(root) F#(Major 3rd) A(5th)
- E Minor Chord - E(root) G(minor 3rd) B(5th)
- F# Minor with flattened 5th - F#(root) A(minor 3rd) C(flatenned 5th)

- A7 chord has these notes - A(root), C#(major 3rd), E(5th), F#(7th)

I have no idea how to solve the next two questions sad.gif

You did a very good job and almost correct!

I would like you to harmonize G major scale using 7th chords
Gmaj7 - Ami7 etc.

A7 chord has a mistake! I would like you to find it yourself smile.gif
I will hint you! smile.gif
7 chord is I - III - V - bVII
Let me know if you have any questions ! smile.gif
