Simple.

1. Move to the US.

2. Start a finance company and make all kinds of questionable decisions regarding credit/investments. Pocket as much as you possibly can.

3. Then when it goes under, the government will just HAND YOU MILLIONS MORE!!!!!

I don't know why I didnt think of it first.

Posted by: Noangels Oct 8 2008, 02:40 PM

Try your hand at short selling like all those parasitic hedge fund pond life do,money for nothing:)

I keep hoping I will one day be typing away on my keyboard and I will turn it into solid gold with a simple touch. Unfortunately it happened once but I think it may have been a dream smile.gif Either that or somebody robbed it from my room biggrin.gif

Take a huge loan, buy a house. This sounds crazy, because of the crisis. But! If no one wants to buy a house, the price will drop. If you buy now, sell in a couple of years when the market is stable with a steady and predictable inflation and you will probably earn a couple of grands.

Simple. Invent a time machine, go back 50 years, buy 10 Stratocasters, fast forward 50 years and sell them for about $100,000 each. wink.gif

Getting approved for a load is very difficult now because of the crisis. So I think it's safe to say that won't work wink.gif

You could start trading in the stock market wink.gif very profitable if you know what you're doing. Could cost a lot if you don't. ohmy.gif
It was just crazy years when I was an active day trader, I could just shrug at a $4000 loss knowing I'd earn it back another day. You win some and you lose some. Money in the stock account didn't feel like real money. And it's no walk in the park either, it's a 16 hours a day.

But money isn't everything in the world and I stopped trading since I didn't have a single free moment during the week. Trading in the Swedish market from the morning and when the US opened in the swe afternoon I had more stocks to trade and this lasted all the way to bed time when NYSE and Nasdaq closed. And not sleeping well in the nights either, always connected to the stock account with computer or cell phone + always worrying = No life! But good money. I doubt I'll ever do it to that extent again, maybe something for you.

That's my only suggestion to fast money won (or lost).

Ive always wanted to begin trading on the markets, since im a business student i have the time but i don't have the funds to start out. Maybe there is a chance you could PM me and give me some advice on trading some time! im really interested in the markets and i've learned that although the markets are falling at the moment there are plenty of investments that can be made to make money on as the market falls. I figure the younger i start the better ill get as time goes by, the trick will be getting small amounts out and growing my initial investment slowly so that i don't lose all my tuition money smile.gif

If anyone wants to have a serious discussion about ways to make money / brainstorming session im all for it! I LOVE THIS STUFF smile.gif

In all seriousness, if you are a decent musician, can't you do a few GMC lessons - I would think it would be fun, fullfilling , and give you a bit of cash for musical equipment(And maybe you could write off the purchases as a business expense - tools of the trade)

the stock market, as some people have already suggested. it's so low right now, its gonna go up after a while. it may take some years, but it works. if a stock was $60 before the crisis, then it should be around $20 now. eventually, it should triple. thats what my teacher told me, and if thats wrong, blame her tongue.gif

Boy, ain't that the truth! Did you see where AIG executives went on a 440,000 dollar junket after the bail out?

For people who claim to be qualified to answer this, I have two questions....

1) Are you personally self made rich?

2) If the answer to question #1 is true, why are you spending time on internet jabbering with us poor folk?

Buy some real estate in Serbia. Lots of investors are doing it . In couple of years prices will be doubled up and you can earn great money on reselling the estate.

HAHA yeah cutting down on beer could help. Nothing beats good old fashioned hard work. Sometimes you just got to save up and wait. Sucks, but trust me you'll appreciate it that much more when you purchase:)

I do them occasionally but only ones that can't hurt you like ones seeing how humans cope with a lack of sleep and our we're affected by alcohol when driving. Free alcohol and you get paid smile.gif
