Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi tim!

I have to say that this lesson is a great choice for you. You are not still comfortable with this tempo. The problems that you are having are:

- hands sync issue
- timing issues
- unclean sections

How to fix this? Working at a more comfortable tempo that allows you to play clean, tight and with both hands in sync. Find this tempo, and then increase it by 3/5 bpm. As soon as you feel comfortable with the new tempo you can increase it again.

Hey Tim! It's a pleasure to listen to a take over one of my most recent lessons smile.gif

You've mastered the basis but as Gab pointed there is some work to be done for overall precision of your performance. I think some moments are twice as hard because the have the "little uncomfortable fingers layout" factor. You need to really focus to keep each finger thorugh all it's ringin time assigned and move them at the very last possible moment. Hand sync is the most visible issue here

Hi Tim, Merry Xmas man!

Your picking hand itself looks good and you seem to have the timing and alternate technique working well. Your fretting hand is struggling to keep up with the pace at this tempo so, as the guys suggested, just bring it down so you can play everything cleanly.

As Darius pointed out, you move your fingers off the notes in a rushed manner as your hand span isn't very wide at the moment. So that forces you to shift your entire hand in order for your fingers to reach the other notes.

Play it all at a slower tempo and focus on using the span of your fretting hand to its full potential. It will make your fingers get used to stretching further and will reduce the amount of wasted movement in future. Keep up the good work!
