Not the first band you ever heard, but the first band you ever discovered on your own, and decided from then on you liked them. This was mine, when I was 10-11 years old, it soon led to my discovery of Metal and from there it has all be hopeless for me smile.gif

Also, Michale Graves is an extremely underrated singer I believe, I love his voice.

Probably Bob Marley and The Wailers. I saw a cassette tape in my uncles home but never heard of them. I never had a chance to listen to English music. I seriously started listening only when I was about 14. We had a Wham, Stevie Wonder collection. GNR/Metallica were too heavy except for some of their greatest songs. Pink Floyd was too boring (slow). Eagles, U2 were great, we did lot of covers when in school. Then came Nirvana's Nevermind when I was like 17 and it turned the game. Then once I heard Satriani, it took a different turn.

Probably Ozzy Osbourne. I read an article about him in a magazine and became a fan before I'd even heard any music wink.gif

Really interesting question, perhaps it was during a visit to my cousin, he loved the hard rock - Purple,Zeppelin ,Sabbath.
But, interestingly, I can't remember the songs that I had hooked huh.gif smile.gif

How could I forget...still love them to this day:

My friends all loved Techno those days...they came to my place, turned on the stereo expecting a Techno CD and this song started, and they were all like "what the hell is that?" laugh.gif

Funny you should posta Misfits vid Brett. I've been on a Misfits spree since the start of November, I believe I listen to them like three hours a day, I even learnt to play that song laugh.gif

As for my first band, well, I'm not sure whthere I can call them a band, or even if they are the first one I discovered for that matter, but this is a song that's been in my head for as long as I can remember anyways
