What are your future plans for lessons?
And by any chance could you do an Alex Lifeson (Rush) lesson? your style kinda gives me an old rock n' roll kinda feel, i dont know if you are a fan of rush though.
actualy i dont know Alex Lifeson but i'll chek it now and
i see what i can do... and yes i love the old rock n' roll style
so i will do a little research on that guy and i'll try to come up with
somthing
Sounds great Ben,
may be worth talking with Muris as well (http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_forum/index.php?showtopic=7431)
as it would be particularly nice if you could cover different aspects of Lifeson's style.
Cheers,
Tony
i'm hearing now some pieces on the youtube but if you can name
one of his cd so i can hear a litlle more that will help! because
i dont realy know his music ( sorry ) but from what i'm hearing now
it sounds great!!!!
Sure other members will come in with others Ben but some albums which I particularly like are 2112; Fly by Night and; Moving Pictures. I think there's probably a 'Best of Rush' album though what it's called I don't know.
Cheers,
Tony

I love your classical pieces. Its really awesome sounding stuff.
Are they original pieces?

hehehe sometime I'm forgeting that a lot of people
can watch this!! but as you said I'm chilling with my pyjama
next time you'll see me with a tuxedo hehehe or not...
(I'm not that type of man..) I like to keep things as simple
as possible...
or maybe something like this???
So Ben
Tell us alittle about yourself, like how long you have been playing.Your main influences and whats your favorite stuff to play.Did you go to school to study music and what are your goals as a musician
I'm 23 years old and living in Israel in a small town nothing
much to do here so recently I started to take the guitar much more
seriously.. I'm playing since I'm 12 and I took for three years classical
lessons.. it helped a lot but the main problem is that I did'nt learn theory
I just wanted to play ( stupid me ) I was a kid and I did'nt know what I
need so all the work of learning scale and improvise etc... ( playing on the electric )
I learn myself so it took me a lot of
time ( there were nobody to show me ... so my progress was very slow...
ever since a joined here and seen all the great teachers here doing crazy stuff it rely
inspire me and open my mind and now I just know what I need to practice and how to get were
I want to be... my goal as a musician is to make a living doing the thing I love the most
( playing off course!! ) so I started doing that I'm teaching guitar lessons I have a few students
so it rely pushes me to be in a higher level... the most important thing for me is to always be
and feel that I'm progressing and moving foreword the last 4 years I did'nt make any at all...
so that basecly it...
my life story in short... hehehe

Ben, I just wanted to let you know that i love your lessons. You have a very smooth style that relies on very unique compositions and non typical progressions. You really put soul into your playing and it shows in every note. Thanks for your participation at this great site. You are a fantastic addition. Max
I particularly like the Don't Take, Pent. Bending and Int. Solo. Those are the ones i've tackled so far but I plan to dig into the acoustic stuff next. I look forward to your next lesson. Max
thanks I got your taste I think... I started resently to play
classic music so I have a couple of those lessons planed ( this music really open your mind!! ) but
also I have more solo lessons on the electric in the same style that you dig
and a couple riff lessons... so hope you like what is next to come
