I suggest you clean up your computer for starters.
First in your browser: (for IE) Tools->Options->Delete->Delete all something like that Then I'd suggest you install, if you don't have one already, a spyware cleanup program. I'm using Adaware ->click here<- which works ok. Clean up your computer(s) and try again, might be spyware hoging your bandwidth. If it's still and endless wait, we'll hear from you, ok. -------------------- My bands homepage

I have the same issue with my imac and a vista machine, both with 2 gigs of ram. I'm running 16mb/s, fastest that this isp offers. No spyware issues and the machines are clean. I can stream multiple videos without any performance issues....yes, vai still plays fast without any buffer interruptions of his performance. Gilbert still blares away without a glitch...many more...sounds like hell with all of them going at once, thing is, a great test and no performance issues. Just with the lessons from GMC. Take it for what its worth, this is a pretty good indicator that its not external to GMC....at least not here. Can you let me know the download speed for each of these two files? (Located on two different gmc servers) file1 (US) file2 (EU) Aslo - what is your location? Thanks! This post has been edited by Kristofer Dahl: Apr 2 2008, 09:31 AM

Can you let me know the download speed for each of these two files? (Located on two different gmc servers) file1 file2 Aslo - what is your location? Thanks! I tested this myself just for fun, and file2 was downloaded way faster than file1. Well over twice as fast actually I'm at work and it's a pretty stable connection so I think it's safe to say that Norwegians vote for file2 |

I must say it is probably not GMC fault. Internet IP service is best effort service to deliver packets to recievers as fast as possible. However internet IP layer doesn't make any promises about end to end delay and jitter. Some packets may be lost and some may be delayed and jittered and then dropped again.
As soon as the video stream arrives to congested link or router in the network it gets delayed. This post has been edited by Ivan Milenkovic: Jun 24 2008, 10:39 PM -------------------- - Ivan's Video Chat Lesson Notes HERE
