Adrian Figallo - Muted Strings Guitar |
|
Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hey dude, 9 points from here, i can visualize it recorded with multitrack and your guitar doubled, it would sound as good or better than my version, i really loved what you do mostly and don't get me wrong, because you have a really cool attitude playing.
Your technique is pretty good, you need to work on your timing just a bit, get a BIT more confident with it, and on the single notes you need to able to mute all the unwanted strings between your both hands really good, so you are going to be able to hit more aggressive those notes. I would give you a 7 for your video, but the attitude is always a double plus forme, it doesn't matter if you are steve vai if you don't have steve's attitude. Great work. -------------------- Check my Instructor Profile Rockers! Got a Blog too!, www.adriantracks.com Follow me on facebook and youtube! -Youtube |

This is quite good, with proper attitude and very nice tone. Your percussive style fits the take very nicely too.
I think your timing needs some improving, you need to really punch those kick & snare components, and accent them with the guitar. Timing also becomes even more loose towards the end, remember to keep the tightness during the whole take! The rhythm part was very good, and I think more work needs to be done on the small bending and single note riffs. These need to be more tighter. -------------------- - Ivan's Video Chat Lesson Notes HERE
