I was checking out TRI AC before some time, I think it sounded very good. I've heard Sansamp on stage in action, and it comes out nicely. Should be good for home recording, and for live too, since it's analog. Too bad Sansamp is not really around in stores here (along side with many other things sad.gif )

As far as I understand Rammstein built their guitar sound around them. They also have a famous model for direct recording bass in the home studio.

So this should be good stuff!

great feedback kris, i didn't that about Rammstein but that's a great reference, i thinking, maybe i could get like 1 or 2 modelers and a bunch of pedals, overdrive, mods, wah, booster etc, and that into a clean power amp + speakers, or send it on a line, it's an interesting concept.

do you guys think that could work?

Chowy Fernandes brought the triac to my studio to record some lessons and it a very good pedal. We recorded connecting the pedal to the line input of the soundcard and we could get very powerful metal sounds. It's also very versatile.

i was thinking about the other ones that emulates just one amp, i guess the sound is better than one with multiple types, but i dk, do you have the GT2?

That's great gab, i will look for chowys lessons, he's a great player too so i guess he thinks a lot about his sound.
This might be the solution for my live sound, finally!

Their Bass Driver DI pedals are almost must have for gigging/recording bassists so I suppose their other pedals are pretty good as well! smile.gif

The GT2 is a bit heavier and less versatile than the TRI-AC I think, although ofc it is very versatile.
I've been using the GT2 for recording, band practice and live. It is the one piece of gear I've owned that has never ever let me down in any way. smile.gif

This guy got a great review:

I like the convenience of it, great small device to take everywhere, not bad at all

but I thought you were not into digital emulation?

Well, i prefer the real deal daniel for sure, but it's not so versatile to have an amp, i tried before trust me, sometimes the play is too small, or bad mics, or i just simply can't take it. so i need a light rig to take everywhere, and im not sure aobut guitar rig 4, i think i prefer analogs.

Yes, GT2 is what I heard on stage too, it has a character to it, this is very important with these pedals.
