Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

This was an overall good effort. You've got great palm muting skills.. nice n chunky, just the way it's supposed to be ! wink.gif

Some timing errors, mainly with chord changes.. something that only really improves with time spent with the particular chord changes that you're having trouble with, whatever song it happens to be.

I noticed you appear to be playing the chords at 0:52 and beyond as octave chords and missing out the 5th. Although you can get away with it, it doesn't sound as powerful as the intended power chord shape, so that would help nail a higher score.. but overall, good work ! smile.gif

Hi man! Your take is good! I like your tone and the sound that you get with the palm muting. The faster palm muting rhythms need to be adjusted to sound tighter. Mostly in the first half until 00:38. Then the rhythm is ok but you could make the chord or octave changes even smoother. By the way the take is good so just concentrate on fixing those details and you'll get a perfect take.
Keep on working hard! wink.gif

Good afternoon mate!

The take is very good as an ensemble, but as Ben and Gabe said, the devil is in the details - take a little more time to correct the timing slips and you can be flawless wink.gif as I said before, you are a good rhythm player and you can only develop your skills even better from this point on! Keep it up my friend!

I like this one! You got a good sound and good right hand palm muting!
Your timing needs more work try to use a slower backing track to practice it and also practice with a metronome only!
Also you can try concentrate more and really feel the tempo, try to play a little lay back and it will be perfect!

Guys just said everything that needed to make this a great shot. Practicing with a metronome can sometimes be very boring, but always is worth wink.gif Keep practicing !
