Original lesson: Odd Grooves by Muris Varajic

Hi mate, good job with this one. You are now able to play the whole lesson tight over the backing which is not an easy job. It has really tricky grooves involved. Now it's time to take it to a new level, focusing on details:

TONE:
Listen to Muris take with headphones and then listen to yours. What do you hear? Are there any differences? I notice that your tone sounds lifeless, it lacks treble and definition and sound a bit like a fuzz while Muris sound has a more balanced EQ, a more defined drive and the addition of delay that gives the overall sound a different atmosphere. If you want to play like the pros, you also have to have a pro tone, so experiment on your own tone to keep on improving it.

VIBRATO:
You are not using this technique while Music uses it a lot every time he reaches the higher/longer note of each phrase.

DYNAMICS & PINCH HARMONICS:
Another difference that I note comparing both takes is that Muris take has more dynamics involved as well as some pinch harmonics in the higher notes to give the take more life and feeling. These are two lessons that can help you to work on this two topics:

Hi.. this is a good effort. The time signatures of this piece are quite tricky to get your head around so you did a good job of memorisation and adjusting to the finger shifts.

As it stands, you have a tendency to end notes (or move away from them to the next one) too early. Take 0:09 as a good example of this. You can hear how the note is pulled away prematurely. Contrast it with Muris's version and you can hear that you just need to let certain notes hang a bit longer. Obviously there's no exact way to measure this but it's just something that you'll improve with practise and listening back to what you've played.

As Gabriel says, try to also add in some pinch harmonics and pick dynamics which will give it more of a lift . By no means a bad effort at all, keep it up !
