Nope didn't think so either. We all know parents don't get this.
I can show you how to be the virtuoso your folks could only dream about, but I first need your help:
* Pm me and I will show you where to start. I am online every day and I will help you out directly!
* Join my mentoring program. I will customize your learning experience in a way you haven't experienced before. We will have regular contact so that you can remain inspired every day and eventually reach a new level.
* Join my next video chat! GMC startpage holds a video chat schedule. We always cover a lot of ground and have fun. Remember that you don't need any previous knowledge, and you can be passive in the chat.
* Jam with me - you will find active collabs here.
* Post a topic on this board, guitar related or not - doesn't matter! You will find that chatting with instructors boosts your motivation to practice.
* You haven't missed my latest video lessons, have you?
* Oh and did you know that to become a killer guitarist you just need to focus on one thing? Everything
else is secondary. Pm me and I will explain.

Sounds good Cosmin!
I went ahead a finished up my take on the Staccato Power Chords lesson. It sounds awful when played because I can't get Garageband to pick up palm muting and I have not one clue how to mix or master a track. http://soundcloud.com/trey-deschamp/staccato Tell me what you think! I might try to get a video take in and edit it up for the REC program. This post has been edited by TreyDeschamp: Jul 17 2012, 05:00 PM |

I uploaded my take. Curious as to what your grade will be
I recorded a quick take of the first half of the Neoclassical lesson. I wasn't going for perfection. I wanted to give you an idea of where I am so that you could hear mistakes or find good qualities. That scale run definitely needs work although I fee that I'm getting a stronger grasp on it quicker. http://soundcloud.com/trey-deschamp/neocalssical-solo-for This post has been edited by TreyDeschamp: Jul 17 2012, 08:59 PM |

I made a take of that scale run so that you could see how it's coming along. I think it's very good but it could get a little bit better. It's at the actual time. Tell me what you think! |

I love the fact that you are a perfectionist and I think that the run is ok at this point but it is a bit rigid - it needs more flow somehow. Try to work more with the backing track and that flow will come for certain Ben's series are great! I totally agree on tackling those Shall we start with the first one? Cosmin |

I'll be trying to record at take today. I'm essentially done with the lesson. In the mean time, could we maybe start a lesson on metalcore riffing. Keep in mind I'll only be able to drop to D. Hey Trey, well, whatever I will shoot your way, you are always free to play in drop D, but if you want to submit a REC, then I think you will need to use the original tuning. How about this one? -> https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Killswitch-Engage-Style/ I know you like it Tell me if it's too difficult. Ok? I chose it because when you like something, you are more prone to nailing it |
