Modding My Squier, Tips?

I have a classic vibe 60's strat that i've been playing for 3 months now. It's up to par with my fender mim telecaster. Lately i've been thinking that i can get a whole lot more out of this guitar. I've never done any mods on a guitar before but i'm great with soldering etc so that shouldn't be a problem.

I got it straight out of the box and have never done any changes on it. So the specs are still original LINK. My question is what can i change on this guitar to give it a more funky/bluesier tone and improve the overal tone?

I'm new here from the Netherlands 21 years old. I started playing around three months ago but i couldn't keep my attention on one thing at the time.. I want to learn everything in one day. Hopefully i can find some good practice schedules here so i can focuse on a couple of things at the time. I really want to play blues and funk guitar i'm a great fan of stevie ray vaughan, muddy waters, bb king, john frusciante, john mayer and the list goes on lol.

I currently have a Fender mim telecaster a Squier Classic Vibe 60's strat using on a line6 gearbox. I want to buy a vox ac15 and a fender jaguar before this year ends.
