I saved the track and tried to open in windows media player but is says that the player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file.I am not sure how to fix this problem. The project file is just sort of like a big indexing file that keeps track of what midi notes are played, which instruments are loade, what the track names are and where the recorded wave files are to be placed etc. You have to export an area of the project first to either wave or mp3 and the area is set with the markers. I tried as you said and it worked for me. I am just trying to record some of my try.
