I notice nobody has replied yet as they are probably figuring you'll hit the WIKI and FORUMS as this is one of those questions that comes up over and over so let me go ahead and give you a spiff link!

Todd Hello, I have the Logitech HD Pro Webcam C920 and I'm having trouble getting the video imported into Reaper. I am using the 64-bit version of Reaper since I'm using Windows 7x64. I record a video using Logitech's software that came with the camera and it's saved as an .mp4 file. I then drag it into Reaper and it says "Could not import 1 of 1 items!" I tried recording the video using Windows Live Movie Maker and it saves the file as a .wmv. This imported fine into Reaper, but it's very choppy. Also, this isn't a performance issue in regards to my PC. I built it myself and it's quite powerful Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this? Anyone else with the same webcam that uses Reaper? Thanks! Hopefully soon I'll have some REC videos up. -bran edit: Also, I tried converting the .wmv file to an .mp4 using VLC, but it wasn't working and I don't want to download new software until I have to. |
