what string gauge are you using?
I was going to string up my LP for 11's but with the stop tail screwed right down the tension is pretty tight for country bends with 10's. I think I'll raise the stop tail to help me! My tele is desperate for a refret, so getting the true country sound will have to wait (though Tom Bukovac mainly plays Gibsons so I think I can get away with it!) -------------------- My SoundCloud
