This may not be what you looking for but when I make backing tracks I record a wav file from guitar pro.

You need a multitrack software and some type of drum machine software for starters. If you wanna do bass line you need some type of VST bass instrument. Hope this helps

how is ezdrummer... 149 dollars. Is it good (those who have used it)?

It's good, it's very easy to use and has some great straight-from-the-box samples in it

EZ drummer is okay, you will need the multitrack software anyway tough... EZD is great because it has not only solid samples but also a great midi bank from wich to choose grooves. Drag&drop on the trackline of cubase supported. Very straightforward
