Fluorescent light bulbs are pretty cool, though a bit expensive. However, in the long run, they can prove more cheaper then halogen lights, plus they don't generate heat so umbrellas and other strob-based reflectors can be used (they are cheaper).
Here's an example of one 50$ 100W bulb, which is around the same brightness as tungsteen 400W Connecting them to a line or circle based array is interesting idea as well, and can be a cool DIY project This post has been edited by Ivan Milenkovic: Nov 9 2011, 03:03 PM -------------------- - Ivan's Video Chat Lesson Notes HERE

Nah, we don't really have them except in the kitchen - long ones.
I prefer bright bulbs. -------------------- ![]() Facebook Band Page Official YouTube Channel My Three Year Guitar Evolution Subscribe to my other YouTube Sample my projects on SoundCloud Find exclusive material at my Blogspot My success is all because of God. |

Yeah, a bit too much, but it's 100W fluo bulb, it's very powerful, and lasts more then halogen, plus it doesn't generate heat.
