Intteresting... Thanks Ramiro!

I might have to go buy an assortment to try a few different ones. I am really surprised the difference the thicker pick has affected my playing.

I have always used and loved the Jazz III's (small pick) but I wanted something a little bigger with the same feal.

I found these (Jazz III XL's) several months ago and just love them. They are about the same size as a normal pick but thick with that great point at the end for the feal and bounce.

Try them, you won't regret it!

"Think of a guitar solo as a paragraph. You need a clear beginning, a middle, and an end. Look at musical phrases like sentences, and make sure you break them up using punctuation—or space. You pause naturally when conversing, right? If you don't, you'll bore the listener. The same thing will happen with your audience if your solo is one dimensional. You'll wear them out and lose their attention." —Tom Principato

I use different picks for different things smile.gif

Lately I've tried two different Ibanez Celluloid picks, and they were actually pretty good smile.gif
I also use Jazz III (the king size ones) and a few Dunlop picks..

I used to play with Dunlop Tortex 1.0 mm for years, but on my last trip to Ecuador a year ago, I forgot to take some with me, I had to use by brothers Jazz III's, they felt so uncomfortable at first, after a week I had changed my hand position a little, and felt comfortable with the Jazz III picks, when I tried to use my old Tortex it felt like a big useless credit card, had to throw them away. Now I am stuck with jazz III

Very cool mate, sometimes we tend to use the same pick over the long period o time. I always try to buy some picks when I go to the store, just to check out different stuff from time to time. Pick is the cheapest way to change your sound smile.gif
